A couple of weeks ago I was invited to support the Dia del Niño celebrations at Wahaca Brixton. Dia del Niño translates as "Day of Children", which in Mexico is an annual celebration for children.

The event had lots of activities for kids, such as piñata making, face painting, clowns and courtesy of The Bumblebead, a bracelet workshop!
I spent the week prior preparing a few simple techniques that little fingers could work around and all in all it worked out really well. The stall was full the entire time and girls & boys made lots of multi coloured bracelets.

The day ended with the breaking of the piñata and lots of happy children.
